I’m Aia Jones, a Canadian fashion design student at ESMOD Paris, passionate about storytelling through clothing. My work balances classic, flattering silhouettes with playful, unexpected details— blurring the lines between function and artistic expression.
I explore themes of nostalgia, personal spaces, and cultural narratives, drawing inspiration from history, human behaviour, and both the obvious and the not-so-obvious. To me, fashion is more than just garments; it’s a way to translate ideas, emotions, and stories into pieces that invite intrigue and interaction.
Alongside design, I’m interested in styling and editorial work, bringing garments to life through composition, context, and narrative. Whether through clothing or imagery, I aim to shape perspectives and create visual stories that feel fun and dynamic in a world of media consumption.
Endlessly curious and eager to learn, I approach each project as a chance to expand my skills and perspective. I’m driven to explore limitless creative worlds and transform them into something exciting and unexpected.
I am currently seeking an internship or apprenticeship from July to September 2025. Open to relocation, I’m hoping to immerse myself in an environment where I can expand my skills, learn and gain industry experience. My priority is growth, not compensation—I’m looking for an opportunity to contribute and collaborate, alongside inspiring creatives.
